Sorry, it’s been a while since our last blog…

My father and I went to Japan recently and had an amazing time.  We visited my mother’s hometown of Fukuoka, Japan and then went up to the Tokyo area to visit our friend Tamaki and her family. Tamaki’s parents live in eastern Tokyo in Chiba.  They have a beautiful home that is surrounded by rice fields.

The rice fields were recently harvested, but some plants were left behind.  Here’s me, my Dad and Kaname in the rice field!

We also found another surprise in the rice field…

We found these beautiful little frogs!  They were jumping around everywhere!
